Mariah Mitman was born and raised in Montana, graduating from Florence-Carlton High School before attending Montana State University. She then moved to Oregon, where she attended Pacific University College of Optometry. After graduating with her Dr. of Optometry, she moved to Reno, where she completed a residency at the Sierra Nevada VA, furthering her education in ocular disease and primary care optometry.
Despite attending MSU, Dr. Mitman is a lifelong Griz fan and loves cheering on her football team. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two dogs. They enjoy hiking, camping, and exploring all the outdoor activities Montana has to offer.
