Dr. Dirk Beyer

Dr. Beyer is a primary eye health care professional and provides eye health exams, diagnosis, treatment and management of eye disease, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures, as well as identify related systemic conditions. Dr. Beyer works closely with multiple primary care physicians, health care providers and specialists to coordinate the very best care for his patients.

Dr. Beyer is a 1996 graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry.  He completed undergraduate work at Carroll College as well as the University of Montana.  He served as chief Optometric Officer at the Chippewa Cree Clinic located on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation.  In addition, he practiced at his downtown office in Havre.  Dr. Beyer purchased Big Sky Eye Care Clinic and Optical in January 2000. Dr. Beyer Received the Young Optometrist of the Year Award presented by the Montana Optometric Association in 2004 for his hard work and dedication to optometry, his patients, community and family.

He is therapeutically certified optometrist. Dr. Beyer is an active member of the Hamilton Lions and Kiwanis Clubs and is President of the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce.  He is the chairperson for the Lions Club Ski Bus Program and Sight Committee.  Dr. Beyer is the 2010/2011 President for the Montana Optometric Association. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Montana Optometric Association. Dr. Beyer was elected in 2010 to be the American Optometric Key Person that represents the Optometrists from Montana and will attend the Annual Congressional Advocacy Conferences in Washington, DC.

Dr. Kellie Hadnot

Dr. Kellie Hadnot

Dr. Kellie Hadnot was raised in Chinook, Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman earning a degree in Cell Biology. She graduated with distinction from Pacific University with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2008. During optometry school, Dr. Hadnot developed a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Completing an ocular disease residency program at the Portland VA Medical Center allowed Dr. Hadnot to further her training and specialize in ocular disease management. As part of her residency training, Dr. Hadnot also worked with partially sighted veterans teaching them to use magnifiers and low vision devices. Dr. Hadnot is looking forward to providing these specialized services in addition to all other optometric services to the people of this area.

Prior to coming to back to Montana, Dr. Hadnot worked in Portland, Oregon at a Costco Vision Center and as an attending optometrist at the Pacific University College of Optometry. As an attending doctor in the ocular disease and special testing department, she supervised and mentored student interns.

Dr. Kellie Hadnot and her husband Dustin are very excited to return to the Bitterroot Valley. They both enjoy many outdoor activities like camping, hiking, horseback riding, and skiing.
